2010 AGM ~ Costa Mesa, California, USAThe Society held its 11th Annual General Meeting on Saturday May 29, 2010, in conjunction with Scots Fest 2010 at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California, USA. A one hour meeting took place on the festival grounds. We also went to a local restaurant that evening to enjoy a casual dinner together. A grand time was had by all!
The Hon. Sir William McAlpine, 6th Bt. - Patron of the SocietyThe Hon. Sir William McAlpine, 6th Bt. is the Patron of the Clan MacAlpine Society. The Society is fortunate to have Sir William’s endorsement of our effort and his active support as our Patron. Sir William is the great grandson of Sir Robert McAlpine, 1st Bt. founder of the world famous Sir Robert McAlpine, LTD construction company. As successor to the Baronetcy, Sir William is the head of the most prominent "MacAlpine" family in the UK, if not the world.
